Last week, I was lucky enough to stay in the town of Aosta, using it as a base to explore the Aosta Valley.
As well as skiing in Pila and Monterosa Ski, we enjoyed looking around the town of Aosta itself. Located in the centre of the Aosta Valley, the town was founded by the Romans in 25 BC, and is full of historical buildings.
